If the uni is looking to do some cutting-edge stuff, to encourage and inspire students and staff, they need look no further. Patrick gets along well with the young and the old, being smack in the middle himself at 39-years-old.
The space at the Carleton University Art Gallery (CUAG), a rather singularly unpleasant acronym, is a good one. There are several rooms and a mezzanine. I've seen some good displays there. Parking is questionable as I think people have to pay which is a drawback for many. Bus transportation to the gallery is good.
