Experimenting with the Kodak point 'n shoot and getting various results depending on whether or not a flash is used. The pin is pewter and tarnished however, the flash obliterates the tarnish.
Would that it were this easy with a silver tea set.
This oval is a vintage Wedgwood platter, the Belmar pattern.
I wish I'd taken a photo of it before the discolouration was cleaned.
Using a solution of peroxide left on for several days, the yellow and
crazing disappeared. Strong peroxide is best.
