If we thought that putting film on windows would keep thieves from knowing what we are carrying in our vehicles, think again. Any camera and I would venture to say, cell phone with a camera app that includes a flash, would be able to simply point the lens directly against any window and see directly what is inside. The photo to the right is what happens if you angle the lens. Usually, this is preferable in order to deflect the flash, so that it doesn't bounce off but given the film, it appears that a direct approach is best.

Thieves, Be Clubbed!
Windy and spitting a bit of sleet so through the window is a bit murky. However, you can see the bright yellow club affixed to the steering wheel. I'm not sure what sort of prevention it provides as the wheel turns freely but I doubt if one could go far with this on. Turning a corner would be difficult, not to mention what other motorists would think when they saw a thief driving with one of these. Hopefully, they would call the police immediately.
