From Vinyl to Wood

It took two days to remove the vinyl from the wooden case. It's interesting that there is the outline of a smaller case or guitar imprinted  on the wood, back and front.

There is sticky residue left on the wood that is stubborn. It will not come off using acetone nor rubbing alcohol.

I lightly sanded the wood today using a palm
sander and will apply stain and polish before Saturday's show when I hope to have this case on display.
