If Barnett Newman (1905 - 1970) could paint Voice of Fire in 1967, a cadmium red stripe flanked by two cobalt blue stripes, and the National Gallery in Ottawa pick up the canvass for a cool $1,800,000 in 1989, I can pretend to have my own voice of fire and hope that the Gallery will call and talk to me in person. I can let them have this installation for a little less than what they paid for the Newman.
Sign me, laughing out loud!
