Typewriter NoGo

Finally got one of the IBMs upstairs, let it warm up and plugged it in. No power. Will not start up.

The plug looks either corroded or it  has paint on it. Maybe someone dragged it by the cord at one point. Not sure what the situation is but I'll Google it and see.

Pity.

I love the fact that the plug is non-polarized.
