The second Thursday evenings are now devoted to hour-long art talks at the gallery.
This evening, Michele LeCourtois and Tick Tock Tom explained their artistic impulses to a full-house. Each artist had 20 minute to talk about their art, then there was a brief refreshment break, followed by 20 minutes of questions.
Both these artists used powerpoint in their presentations which was effective. I am one of the next artists to give a talk, along with Adam Davidson, on April 11 and since I do not know how to use this computer app, I'll be doing the good old show 'n tell with actual Quirky B's and framed prints.
