This is precisely what Patrick John Mills, and variously, Patrick S. Greene and Adam F. Davidson have been doing for the past three weeks.
No matter what the weather, brisk, cold sunlight or blistering blizzard, Patrick John and artist friends have braved the elements. He has documented this marathon of cold weather painting on the gallery's blog at www.patrickjohnmillsgallery.blogspot.com and you can follow the next week's development and if determined, can go back to the beginning of March when he started.
I stopped by at noon today and, initially, both artists were gone. I waited a bit and was just leaving when I ran into them returning from the University of Ottawa campus where they'd gone for lunch.
