Putting the finishing touches to this guitar case. The black and white photo shows the design and helps in deciding what needs toning down. The orange is less noticeable now but the green is still leaping out. This might be OK or I might lessen it by adding some cover-up colours or even painting some of it out using black and then overlaying it with pink.
As per my expert artist friend, I have added pink and a great deal more silver. Hard to see in indoor light but with the rain falling here in Ottawa since this morning, there has been no opportunity to take shots in natural light.
This is how I tentatively started the case. Heavy-handed which is why it needed amending.
Above, right, is how the case was turning out initially and why it had to be revamped. A plain black background is de rigueur.
