This was the scene in Ottawa at the Cenotaph just after noon today. Despite the national ceremony having ended at least half an hour earlier, hundreds of people and a strong contingent of Ottawa Police, Military Police, RCMP, security guards and young recruits remained. Still, the White Poppy Ceremony came off without a hitch and many new people came which means that the movement is growing.
