Maybe I Should be a Birdhouse Renovator

This one's a beaut. Mounted high up on a pedestal for many years, it became weathered and covered in lichen. It didn't look like a wooden structure; many thought it was metal, myself included.

This is how it looked initially. Most of the lichen has been scraped off. Now come some repairs to items on the foundation board and also, the removal of the roof to empty long-abandoned nests. There may be two inside. I'll photograph what's there.

Better photos are needed at this point to reveal what a lovely bird house this is.
