An Artistic Day
With the promise of sun for the next two or three days, the Pink Slip Pinata was ensconced in the front yard. It immediately caught everyone's eye. The white kitchen chair balances out this installation.
There was an opening of work by three photographers, including Jake Morrison, at Orange Gallery on Armstrong St. this eve. A highlight was the reading of poetry written to accompany the photos of orchids taken by Jake M.
This is the hanging montage done for a show last year at Patrick John Mills Gallery entitled, I Killed the Group of Seven. They're all there including Tom Thompson and Emily Carr who, technically, were not part of the Group.
