As soon as I finished last night's entry, I telephoned Vancouver using the phone number in the Stay As You Are comic. It has been disconnected. I next tried the email noted in the comic and it came back void. How can a talented person simply fall from the face of the earth?
While shifting around some things this morning, I can across some more of Brad's work. He really was ahead of his time. He was what was euphemistically called, an early adopter on this DIY postage stamp idea.
He charged $10 each and if he sold the entire run of 200, well, he would not have been a wealthy man, but he would have been content to have sold out.
This is all artists really want. Acknowledgement and the fact that someone wants our work.
