Three liked minded Artists, Andrew King, Alison Fowler and Katherine Jeans are proud to announce Ottawa’s very first POP Art Gallery in Ottawa.

Welcome to Ottawa's newest and most innovative concept in art...the pop-up art gallery. We have secured a temporary gallery location to offer the finest selection of art from the city's leading artists, this fresh approach to enjoying art in Ottawa is about to open in the burgeoning art gallery district of Wellington West and Parkdale Market at 77 Holland Street.

With a grand opening on November 29th, artists, Katherine Jeans, Alison Fowler and Andrew King take the Pop-Up Gallery stage to exhibit their works in an environment that is refreshing, fun, and one-on-one with the artists who created the work on display.

Visitors will experience art with all the best aspects of a modern gallery space but with a low-pressure environment of an artist created space, providing visitors with a unique art experience that changes with time and a place for an unconventional experience that outlasts the conventional.

A place where clients can come in and visit with the artist daily and have a one on one discussion about their inspiration and art. Taking a deeper look at the art beyond the walls.

These three like-minded artists wanted to do something out of the ordinary and the grand opening November 29th promises to be a spectacular event where each artist is donating a painting that will be auctioned off. Uniquely, the proceed will go to the charity of the choice of the buyer.

Come out and support the charity of your choice or POP by to chat with the artist.

About the Artist

Katherine Jeans is Vice President of Sound Venture Productions & a Visual Artist. She invites you to share and indulgence in “beautiful things” from her new body of work entitled In Search of B E A U T Y. Rich, dramatic and meticulously rendered florals and deep abstract paintings that are derived from nature.

Andrew King Utilizing his design skills, animation background and unique brand of humour, his works vary from contemporary landscapes to almost graphic cartoon style images. Influenced and inspired by his travels, vintage advertising art and Prince Edward County, his work evokes both humour and emotion through minimalism, lighting and colour.

Alison Fowler
Alison is a self taught, Ottawa born artist that lives and works in Wellington West. She is blessed with a sense of "radicalness" of colour that infuses all of her artwork. A "colourist," she uses a palette knife and brushwork to create design elements in a natural setting that explore the artistic realm between abstraction and reality. Her art is deceptively simple and straightforward: eye~pleasing composition, dollops of underlying texture and, above all else, vibrant and stunning colour.
