Had to use two different ribbons as the hinge-side of the top was narrower than the front.The other thing I did today was to dye the upper and lower binding black using Tana leather dye. The binding isn't leather but now it looks more like it.
This entire case is a test case. It'll be lovely when it's done and never another will be the same.
Giving up on doing one side in sequins, however. Determined to not be a good look. However, there is a substance that becomes colourfully cloudy when mixed with the new laminate discovered on the weekend. Might give it a try and run a line of sequins diagonally. I am anticipating a spectacular result.
