Typewriters

The things that are coming to the fore!

The fifties Underwood was the machine I went to Journalism school with. I bought it from a pawn shop on Clarence St. in the Byward Market area of Ottawa. It was under the bed for awhile but currently, it sits under cover on a chest of drawers.

The portable Smith-Corona Model 35 was given to me by friends who were moving to New Orleans. Some how, I got the idea that this machine from the forties had been his father's.
I might be making up the truth here.

There are typewriters stored in the basement and
I must see what's up with them.

How I love anything mechanical!
