As the Art Dries

Over the last two days, the Quirky B's have been drying in the van and I bring them upstairs, two by two, and reassemble them from whence they came. A few shelves here, some there.

Even the waxen boards are not stackable although they endured less damage than the others in the rain.

This afternoon, I contacted the people running the Strathcona Art in the Park show that is in August. This is a fund-raiser for the Ottawa chapter of the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario and looks to be similar to the show in Central Park except this is a one-day show and should it be needed, the next day is a rain-date.

The park is located at Range Road and Laurier Street and is free for the public. This is the tenth year and upwards of 150 artists and artisans will be on hand between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. There will be a silent auction and I have donated a Quirky B. I have one in mind but won't divulge which one as yet.

Drop by tomorrow and I'll have news on other upcoming shows.

Thank-you.
