Does anyone else recall the Swedish women who starred on the Ed Sullivan Show who came to New York to perform various calisthenics using balls and long ribbons they twirled around their heads and bodies? This and the June Taylor Dancers were hot items in the sixties!
The balls in the dolls' hands are pastel Easter gumballs that every year or so, I change as they degrade and become empty husks.
