Painting en Plein Air

Remember, it's the middle of December and even though we have no snow, it's not exactly unseasonably warm out there.

Bit of a publicity thing today in the run-up to Saturday's Elemental Art Party at Patrick John Mills Gallery in Hintonburg.
It appears to be the way to go as so many people stopped to find out what we were doing and they took our gallery flyer with them so that they can check the website.

There's something about painting with frozen paint. Sticks better, doesn't run, doesn't smear. Brushes get a bit stiff but all in all, works out just fine.

We plan to do a few more of these au plein air escapades at Laurier and Bank over the next couple of weeks. Start praying that it doesn't snow.
