Taking Art to the Street

A rainy Saturday in Ottawa. Makes it hard for the signs I've been making for the
Climate Fast people on Parliament Hill to dry. And as you can see to the right,
a different paper and simply a photostat, has allowed what was on the board I glued it to to show through. A mistake. This one, I can rework, tack something over that white strip but the other, I'm afraid, nothing can be done. And trying to dry the one on the left so that it doesn't buckle, has me using bricks, a carafe and a pail.
Meanwhile, while cycling home this morning, on one of the back streets in Centretown, Ottawa, I noticed that someone had made a rather charming stencil at the rear of the old school board building.

Shades of Bansky!
