I think Godard would approve. He said, "What I want above all is to destroy the idea of culture. Culture is an alibi of imperialism. There is a Ministry of War. There is a Ministry of Culture. Therefore, culture is war."
When we think of the car culture that gained great intensity in the fifties, and the disaster that is has wrought on individuals and communities since, the culture of the car is an assault on our environment and well-being.
