Meanwhile, I discovered a lovely 50-year-old globe at a church bazaar the other day, drawn to it for Africa, mainly, and those original country names: Rhodesia, Bechuanaland, Nyasaland, etc.

And in another hemisphere, to Ceylon and quaint Indian names.
