As you can see from the photo of The Mondrian, originally, I was decorating the the top and bottom and the sides.Now, less is more and I do the top only.
People who've had their guitar cases decorated love the stir it creates when they meet up with other musicians and they are still in basic, boring black.
I hope to begin decorating my guitar case this week. I, too, am bored with basic black.
