Bit of a test day for fixatives. Am trying a gloss and a mat sealant, along with one that says "glimmer." It does not look promising, the "glimmer".
But the mat does. I think several thin coats might fill in the spaces in between the slugs and create a hold on the washes by gripping the centre hole.
The bell, it is going to be a counterweight to the Chain Mail piece which I intent to hang on one side of a garden stand. The bell, brass and quite heavy, will hand inside the upper thin outline and balance the installation.
